The annual Mansfield University holiday choral concerts will feature "Holiday Music Down Through The Ages." Music for men's, women's, and mixed choirs that was composed as far back as the 6th century through the 21st century will resound from Steadman Theatre on November 30, and December 1st & 2nd at 7:30 pm. The program presented by more than 200 singers and instrumentalists will celebrate the spirit of the season with glorious music from historical classics along with popular favorites. The finale, “Musicological Journey Through the Twelve Days of Christmas,” sung by the combined choirs, will incorporate well-known musical styles throughout music history and include a smashing ending! Brass, strings, percussion, and organ will add to the cheer as well as carol singing by the audience. Students/faculty/staff free with MU ID. Pick up complimentary tickets in advance to guarantee seating! Off-campus attendees may order tickets online by visiting Upcoming Events at music.mansfield.edu. Information - call 662-4710.
