Graduating from college is a major milestone and commencement weekend is a special time for graduates, their families, professors and friends, as well as the larger Mansfield University community. We look forward to sharing this exciting time with you!
A Mansfield University commencement is one of our most special occasions, steeped rich in tradition. One such MU tradition is the opportunity for students to submit a Graduation Dedication in the Commencement program that will be given as a keepsake at graduation. This is your opportunity to acknowledge your family members who helped you achieve your dream of a college education, share a special memory of time spent with friends or thank a professor who may have had an impact on your success at MU. Whoever you choose to thank, it will be a memory cherished for a lifetime.
All contributions received through this special program will be counted towards your class legacy gift. Plus, you will be entered in a drawing to win a special gift!
Completeing and submitting a Graduate Dedication is easy to do. Fill out the Graduate Dedication Form that can be found by accessing the following link: http://www2.mansfield.edu/academic-affairs/commencement/upload/Graduate-Dedication-Form-S13.pdf and return it with your donation to the Mansfield University Foundation by Friday, April 19, 2013 or contact Erin Thomas at the Foundation at 570-662-4852 or ethomas@mansfield.edu.
Mansfield University is a community in the best sense of the word. We look out for each other. We push ourselves to dream big. We work hard to achieve success. We care. Mansfield welcomed its first student in 1857 – and to this day, the University continues to seek and serve students with big dreams for their futures.
